Meditation on Thinking – Part 3

When we think through intention or will, there is a point we mistakenly believe.

It’s a firm belief in the solid notion that ‘my thoughts’ are ‘mine.

We believe we can think with intention and will, but this requires underlying conditions.

To think, our body and energy are necessary prerequisites.

Our bodies are not entirely under our control, and energy is also supplied entirely from external sources.

Thoughts emerge when the body and energy are already present, yet these premises exist independently of our intentions or will.

Approaching from a different angle, it’s evident that there’s a mechanism for thinking unconsciously formed as we grow from an early age.

Claiming that one’s thoughts come 100% from consciousness is already impossible and untrue.

Therefore, it’s necessary to approach the certainty about ‘my thoughts’ with caution and maintain a certain distance.
