Eating-Gratitude Meditation

Human beings cannot produce energy internally.

Hence, we sustain our lives by consuming numerous external sources of energy.

We may celebrate and take pride in the advancements of human civilization, but all of it is dependent on nature, Earth, and the universe.

Without the sun, Earth would not exist, and without flora and fauna, we would not be able to survive.

Do we truly take the time to contemplate and appreciate these premises when we eat?

The fundamental approach to meditation is the conscious observation and contemplation of the unconscious actions and thoughts we perform instinctively.

Observing the act of eating with all senses and feeling gratitude in the heart.

Let’s embrace the practice of eating and giving thanks as meditation in our dietary habits.
