Meditation on Truth

The truth of life and the universe is a profound mystery that many seek to uncover.

But how do we approach this truth?

Interestingly, we often pursue answers or truths more fervently when we are distressed rather than when we feel at ease.

Yet, the mistaken belief that knowing this truth will solve all our problems at once often deepens our suffering.

In this pursuit, we must acknowledge an essential reality: truth cannot be approached as an abstract concept removed from our direct experiences.

Additionally, any truth sought while influenced by our current distress and projections of suffering becomes a distorted version of the truth.

Clinging to what we believe to be true—without questioning its origins or the filters through which we perceive it—only entrenches us further in our suffering.

Before embarking on the journey toward truth, we must first understand ourselves.

With a mind clouded by negative reactions, defense mechanisms, and distorted perspectives, we cannot access the clarity necessary for approaching objective truth.

Moreover, the subjective nature of our bodies and minds makes establishing absolute objectivity an inherently challenging task.

The true path to discovering truth begins with observing the changes and phenomena that arise through our bodies and minds as they are.

This act of non-judgmental awareness, which lies at the heart of meditation, becomes the foundation for walking the path toward truth.

It is in meditation that we realize truth is not something external to us, but rather something revealed within as we observe ourselves with honesty and clarity.

As our suffering diminishes through healing and therapy, the pursuit of truth naturally aligns with the state of our being.

Meditation is not merely a tool for comfort or relaxation; it is a practice that brings us closer to the essence of who we are and, through that, the truth of life itself.

Let us not be deceived by abstract truths or ideas existing outside of us.

Instead, through meditation, we can embark on the most profound journey: one that leads us inward, where truth resides in the unfolding nature of our experiences.

By embracing meditation as both the first step and the most authentic path to truth, we uncover the essence of our true nature and may gain deeper insights into the universal truths it reflects.
