Martial Art is Meditation – Part 3

Martial arts that target the mind must transcend the duality of attack and defense.

In this practice, there is no attack, only the flow of movement.

Within this flow, countless changes unfold naturally.

Even stillness—what seems like the absence of movement—can be seen as the settling of change.

This approach isn’t about defending against physical blows but responding to the ever-changing nature of the mind.

These responses emerge naturally through the body, without force or pretense.

There’s no need for manipulation or calculated strategies.

Simply allow your body to move at its own rhythm and pace, expressing your mind honestly and without hesitation.

In this state, you align with the changes happening within and around you.

You let go of the boundaries between consciousness and unconsciousness, becoming one with the flow of change itself.

At this point, martial art becomes meditation.
